We produce a range of quality Gambian fruit and chocolate liqueurs using home grown fruits and fresh produce from the local markets. This makes the availability of some of our liqueurs seasonal.

Looking for something a bit different? Come and enjoy a relaxing time in a natural and tranquil environment.

Visit Kim Kombo plantation and distillery for a free short tour and free tasting of our home made liqueurs. We now have more than 15 different flavours!

There are lots of changes being made to Kim Kombo this year so come along and see what we are up to. Among our plans for this year are:

The African evening has already been moved to a new location along with new toilet facilities.

For a fun evening why not come to our quiz night which is every Thursday night starting around 8pm. There is plenty of food and cold drinks available. It's only D50 per person and all the money is paid out in prizes.

A new on site tailors shop is planned that will make a range of clothing and fashion items using traditional African material.

Work is starting on our new eco lodges so that you can spend all or some of your holiday living on the plantation and enjoy the natural tranqil environment along with the many birds and wildlife.

We will be starting bird watching breakfasts in the new year. Arrive early in the morning to watch the many varieties of birds we have here and follow it up with a full English breakfast

We specialise in Solar cooked food so come and try our solar baked biscuits and cakes. Many of the meals for our African Evening are cooked in our solar ovens.

For an experience to remember come to our African Evening. Probably your best night out in the Gambia.

The plantation consists mainly of cashew trees but we also grow three different types of bananas, papaya and limes. We also have mango, orange, pineapple, pomegranite and star fruit trees and plants all growing with various rates of success. However the climate does not seem to be right for rhubarb or gooseberry plants.

The cashew season is from around March to July. It is a most peculiar fruit growing like an apple but with one cashew nut hanging on the bottom of the fruit. If you've never seen a fruit and you are in The Gambia out of the growing season, just ask to see Eric our cashew fruit in a jar!
